The Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has commended the winner of the PDP gubernatorial Primary election Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori says, he toiled hard for his victory.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters Chief Francis Ighoraya. JP made the statement on Thursday after the People Democratic Party PDP Gubernatorial Primaries held in Asaba the state capital.

According to Chief Ighoraya, “What happened was great, the guy who is the speaker, the principal really worked for it. He is a Man of his words, he does things he says. It doesn’t say words and at the end of the day goes disappointing.

“He has touched many life’s, all the people that are supporting him today are supporting him because, he had impacted into their lives in one way or the other over the years and he is accessable, he is not going to be a foreign governor, He lives with his people, we can always have access to him. He has always been like that. So we love him so much.

“There was no tension at all, I was not scared, because what am trying to say is that, in anything you have to push ahead for a political dividends, You discover that it started many years ago. You started sowing over the years.

And this is what he has done and has been doing. If I tell you that’s for the past five years he has been sowing seeds and this is the harvest.

He was sure Hon. Sheriff will become the Delta State governor for the following reasons, “Yes he is going to become the governor. Because this is a man that has Street value and credibility, he is a man that we can see, he is a man that we can torch. He is a man that we can complain to and he will respond.
Chief Ighoraya however causioned opponents to be patient and wait for their time.
“So he is going to make it. My advice for those that failed, is that, they should take it in a good faith. It’s not always rosary. As I speak to you today, I was screened as a commissioner since 2003, till today i have never been. But I have been in the party working hard. One day I will get to my destination, its patience.” He said.
