The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has sealed a plaza at the Trade Fair Complex, Lagos over adulteration of established lubricants. SON Director General, Mallam Farouk Salim said the move was to guard against prevalence of motor accidents and machine breakdown, particularly during the yuletide resulting from the use of adulterated lubricants. A ThIrty-five-year-old woman, Mrs. Comfort Innocent, has confessed that she trafficked teenagers from Nigeria to Italy through the crisis-ridden Libya for prostitution. Comfort, who was arrested by the police in Ogun State, said she had been in the trade for a long time adding that, her husband, who lived in Italy, receive the trafficked girls. Gunmen have ‘killed PDP leader in Niger, abduct his three daughters’ Gunmen, suspected to be bandits, have killed a man identified as Ahmodu Mohammed, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kampala ward, Bosso local government area of Niger state.
