The myriads of security challenges facing Nigeria has been attributed to leadership defects as greed, ,love for money, Indiscipline, self-aggrandizement and lack of holy spirit.
The church leaders disclosed this at a press briefing to launch the church’s Second National Symposium of Wardens titled : ” The State, The Society and The Church “slated to hold Saturday May7, 2022
The programme with the Theme : ” Beacon of Hope For A New Nigeria “. as a national discourse is expected to contribute to the emergence of a better country where citizens can benefit immensely from the abundant human and material resources of the country.
Speaking with pointnews,
Chairman and National Leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District, AYO Ni O, Senior Special Apostle Prophet Sunday Funsho Korode who identified greed as one bad character said, it is a problem affecting Nigerian leaders and cause of the nation’s setback .
The church leader said for NigerIa to attain her desired height, there must be an ideal leadership which according to him,must be persons with attributes conducive to achieving peace and national development.
He stated further,that the church has a role to play in nation building, which is to raise disciplined, law abiding and morally upright citizens.
Apostle Prophet Sunday Funsho Korode challenged the church to ride to the occasion of tackling the problems of NigerIa that are responsible for stagnancy.
“Society has been the worst for this ineptitude,there is an urgent need to reverse this trend,we can not afford to be stagnant while other economies are adequately developing their societies. The percentage of our youths or young adults migrating or seeking to migrate to other countries is stattling.We need to be creative to address this and other challenges”.
In an interview with special apostle Olugbenga Emmanuel Sunny, the church leader stated that,what Nigeria must embrace to achieve a better county, is prayer.
According to him,the place of prayer is the most relevant of all that is required for a better nation, although,he appealed to Political office holders to shun greed and love for money and embrace the fear of God in their daily affairs.
He recalled that the aforementioned attributes were a guide for leaders’s in the past, when the country was peaceful adding that,if all the serving politicians and those seeking to serve can imbibe the qualities of past leaders, Nigeria will be a better country.
On his part,the Deputy District General secretary of C&S Movement Church, Surulere District, AYO Ni O, George
Ogunleye expressed serious concern about the state of the nation with an appeal to government to listen to the voice of reasoning.
Looking ahead to the coming 2023 election, he said every NigerIan nurses the fear of what can possibly happen as good or bad. He however prayed that God chooses the appropriate leader for Nigeria such that the nation can rise and take her rightful place in the committee of nations.
Special mother in Israel, Prophetess Lara Oyeyemi told pointnews that,good parenting is important in building future leaders. She urged parents and guardians to strive to inculcate the right values in their children and wards.
She adviced further that, parents must endeavour to teach their children, the word of God and let them know,that world has nothing to offer them but to trust and hope in God

Movement Church, Surulere District, AYO Ni O, said the church’s symposium is open to all and sundry within and beyond the shores of NigerIa, adding that efforts are being made to put it online for the benefit of their members in diaspora and those who can not attend physically.
