The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state has conducted and concluded the Senatorial Primaries for three districts in the state.
The election which was held Monday at Warri city stadium, for Delta North, Delta central and Delta South districts led to the emergence of Hon. Michael Diden as the winner of the Delta South senatorial district Primary.

The People Democratic Party PDP in Delta state has conducted the Senatorial Primaries for three districts in the state.
The election which was held at the Warri city stadium on Monday, for Delta North, Delta central and Delta South districts led to the emergence of Hon. Michael Diden as the winner of the Delta South senatorial district Primary.
Hon. Diden got 176 votes out of 272 to defeat three other contestants.
Giving his assessment,Hon Diden expressed satisfaction stating that, the process was credible adding that it is a reflection of the people’s will.
” This victory is a very good victory. The people have chosen what they want and who they want to represent them in Senate, at the federal level, the Delta South Senatorial district. They have also demonstrated the real way of true democracy”
He assured the electorate of his commitment to serve diligently for the common good.
“You know very well that, what the people have to do is to elect someone that can represent them anytime any day, night or day, the person is there for you.”
It would be recalled that Hon Michael Diden had contested previously for the position and lost. three other contestants.
