Tinubu deploys youngest lawmaker as minister, carves out Marine Ministry from Transportation.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo heads new portfolio apparently in response to popular industry demands as President Bola Tinubu carved out a new Ministry from the Ministry of Transportation.

The new creation which was made known in the recently announced assignment of portfolios to new ministers will be headed by youngest old Lawmaker.

The new Marine and Blue Economy minister is a 41 year old politician from Ondo and a federal lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West Federal constituency.

Tunji Ojo is expected to bring fresh ideas into the new ministry being one of the youngest members in the yet to be inaugurated Federal Executive Council under President Tinubu

The old Transportation Ministry is now to be headed by Olugboyega Oyetola, a former Governor of Osun State
