The Court of Appeal, Lagos Division has upheld the victory of Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as the winner of the 25th February, 2023 Delta South Senatorial District election.
While delivering the lead judgment, Justice Olubunmi Oyewole said the five issues of appeal filled by Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas was meritorious, noting that the earlier judgement given by the Tribunal is hereby set aside with a cost of ₦250,000 awarded against Michael Diden aka Ejele and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
This represents a huge victory for the distinguished Sen. Thomas and the entire Delta South Senatorial District, especially the Isoko nation
