State Gov’t Urges Qualified Deltans To Take Part In Army Regular Recruitment Exercise

Delta State Government on Tuesday, November 5, urged qualified Deltans and members of the general public to participate in the ongoing screening exercise for the Nigerian Army 86th Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Trades and Non-Trades Men and Women.

The exercise which commenced on Monday, 4th December, at the Cenotaph Complex, along High Court Road, GRA, Asaba, and in all the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, will end on Sunday, 17th December, 2023.

State Bureau of Orientation, in a statement by the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Orientation and Communication, Dr Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe, said applicants in the category of Non Tradesmen/Women within the age bracket of 18 – 22 years must possess a minimum of 5 credits; including Mathematics and English, in not less than 2 sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.

Those in the category of Tradesmen/Women must be within 18 – 26 years of age, and must possess Trades-Test or City and Guild Certificates as additional qualifications.

According to the statement, those applying for the position of Midwives and/or Nurses must be within 18 – 30 years of age.

“The general public, particularly interested Deltans who had earlier applied for the recruitment screening exercise should take advantage of this ample opportunity.

“All applicants are strongly advised to turn up from 7am daily; Monday 4th December to Sunday, 17th December, 2023, at Cenotaph Complex, along High Court Road, GRA, Asaba, for the recruitment exercise,” the statement added.
