Egede also served as Personal Assistant to the Executive Director, Maritime and Operations, and held roles as Manager, Traffic Operations Coordination and National Integrated Power Project (NIPP/NPA Project Unit). His professional experience extends to the Rivera Port in Port Harcourt, where he served as Traffic Manager.
Egede belongs to several professional bodies, including membership in the American Society of Safety Professionals and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Jos and a Master of Science degree in Transport Planning from Lagos State University.
