Seek Refuge and Transformation in God’s House -Oborevwori Urges Christians
****Says This is a Place for Transformation and Prayer
****God Uses the Unqualified for His Glory – Prophet Evomobor
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on Christians to regard the temple of God as a sanctuary for prayer, solace, and spiritual transformation.
The Governor made this call on Sunday during the dedication of the newly built church auditorium of Jesus Christ Temple Ministry, located at Ebrumede Roundabout, Effurun, Delta State.
Speaking at the event, Oborevwori commended the General Overseer, Prophet Amos Evomobor, for his visionary leadership and dedication to building God’s kingdom.
“It is with great humility that I stand here today to dedicate this magnificent church auditorium.
“This structure is not just a building; it is a sacred place where prayers will be answered, lives will be transformed, and God’s name glorified.”
The Governor also described the project as a divine investment. “The efforts put into building this church are investments in God’s kingdom, and I am confident they will not be in vain. May this place be a refuge for the weary, a house of prayer, and a center for mission outreach.”
Recalling his involvement in the project’s approval, Oborevwori revealed how he intervened to preserve the church building when its initial design clashed with road construction plans.
“As an Elder in the Living Faith Church, I could not support the destruction of a church building. I instructed the Ministry of Works to alter the design to ensure the church remained intact,” he said.
In his sermon, Prophet Amos Evomobor reflected on his journey, giving glory to God for His grace upon his life and ministry.
“When God called me, I felt unqualified due to my lack of formal education,” Prophet Evomobor said. “But God told me, ‘I use the foolish things to confound the wise.’ Since then, I have witnessed healings and miracles wherever I ministered.”
The General Overseer also praised Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, describing him as a man of vision and transformation. “Your leadership has brought significant progress to Warri and its environs. We are grateful for your commitment to the people of Delta State,” he added.
The dedication service was attended by government officials, church leaders, and members of the community who celebrated the new auditorium as a symbol of faith and unity.
