The Executive Chairman, Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba received an award for performance in leadership development, innovation, commitment and impact made in the body of Christ.
The award was conferred on him by Bishop Dr. Samuel Oyede, presiding Bishop of God’s Fountain of Life Bible Mission Int’l, Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Bishop highlighted some of the Chairman’s outstanding performances in leadership since assumption of office, they include, the construction of administrative complex, perimeter fencing of Isoko North Council Secretariat with modern security gate, rehabilitation of Etevie Community Road Ozoro, rehabilitation of Otor-Iyede Road, renovation of 65 open stores at Otor-Owhe community market, Construction of I5 lockup stores and 4 toilets at Ofagbe community market and renovation of Otor-Igho Community Town Hall, Construction of one block of three classrooms at Imoh primary school Oteri-Iyede, distribution of free notebooks to all the 43 public primary schools in Isoko North, among others , saying Hon. Ogorugba’s leadership has truly impacted Isoko North people and beyond, most especially in the body of Christ, I can testify, he stated.
The presiding Bishop, Bishop Dr Samuel Oyede also applauded the Ogorugba’s Visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to infrastructural development and prudent resources management in consolidating the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State which is visible to Isoko North people, He said ” As an Elder in living Faith Church aka winner Chapel, you have distinguished yourself and make the body of Christ proud, indeed, when the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice.
The Council Boss in his response appreciated the Bishop Samuel Oyede and his wife pastor Mrs Oyede for the award of Honour conferred on him from the body of Christ, saying the award will inspire him to do more for the electorates who voted him into power.
He acknowledged that in the things of God there is no competition, but God’s divine grace and it is the only place you can sow and reap bountifully in all ramifications of life, extending his sincere appreciation to the Bishop on behalf of the state Governor His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the crucial role he played during the 2023 general elections, saying they are very grateful and are willing to continue to hold him in high esteem.
The Chairman was accompanied by Comr. Oreva Ogorugba, Comr Joshua Alebe supervisor for environment, Comr Erero Oloku, Special Adviser to the Chairman, Director of protocol, Comr. Jude Ogwologho, special assistant to the Chairman on Religious matters, Pst Eddy Kome, among others
