Lagos NSCDC FelicitThe Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command has congratulated Mr. Samson Oki on his appointment as Head, Media Relations and Special Adviser to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).

Under the leadership of State Commandant Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, the Command expressed its pride in Oki’s elevation to this key role, which it said will further amplify the Fund’s impact on security agencies like the NSCDC and other stakeholders before the wider public.

The Lagos State Commandant commended the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Secretary of the LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, for entrusting Oki with such a strategic position. He noted that the appointment will strengthen the visibility and credibility of the LSSTF’s contributions to security and public safety, both within Lagos and beyond the state’s borders.

The Command also highlighted Oki’s long-standing commitment to the Corps, particularly in his role as President of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP). It praised his consistent and selfless efforts in projecting NSCDC’s operational activities, community engagements, training programmes, sensitization campaigns, public relations initiatives, and crisis communication interventions in a fair, accurate, and objective manner.

The Lagos State Command expressed confidence that Oki’s expertise and professionalism will enhance media relations between the LSSTF and security agencies, while promoting better public understanding of security initiatives and outcomes. The Command reiterated its support for media practitioners who help deepen transparency and accountability in the nation’s security architecture.
