Uvwie monarch Gets Gov.Oborevwori’s Hearty Cheers at 16th anniversary

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Emmanuel Sideso Abe I, OON, on the 16th anniversary of his coronation.

Oborevwori’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, wherein he described the 16 years reign of the Uvwie monarch as “eventful and rewarding”.

The Governor applauded the revered monarch for making Uvwie kingdom tranquil and investor-friendly since he ascended the throne 16 years ago.

He noted that the monarch’s wisdom in handling the affairs of the kingdom had brought peace to it, and urged the people to continue supporting the monarch in his transformational leadership in the kingdom.

He thanked the people of Uvwie for reposing confidence in the monarch as well as giving him the needed support and cooperation in the past 16 years.

He added; “King Sideso has been working diligently to keep the kingdom peaceful with the help of his Council of Chiefs and the youths, and I am grateful to our people for their support in helping him to restructure and position the kingdom to serve as Delta’s commercial hub.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I sincerely congratulate the Ovie of Uvwie, HRM Emmanuel Sideso Abe I (JP), OON, on his 16th coronation anniversary.

“The king, as a citadel of culture and customs, has been instrumental in fostering peace between the Uvwie people and their neighbours.”

The Governor prayed that the Almighty God would continue to provide him good health and wisdom so that he could continue to direct the kingdom’s customary affairs aright and make significant contributions to the advancement of the state. Cheers on 16th coronation anniversary
