Tragedy as Jenifa’s Diary Actress, Aderounmu Adejumoke passes away

Aderounmu Adejumoke, renowned for her role as Esther in the beloved television series “Jenifa’s Diary” has died at the age of 37.

This was revealed on Monday by a Filmmaker, Seun Oloketuyi via his verified Instagram account.

He expressed condolences to the family and friends of the late actress, stating that details surrounding her passing are still emerging.

A family member of former star of hit series Jenifa’s Diary wrote that “the budding Actress is dead. Details are still sketchy. May she find peace with her maker,” Oloketuyi’s Instagram post read.

Actress Funke Akindele, who co-starred with Aderounmu in “Jenifa’s Diary,” shared her grief, offering prayers for the departed soul and condolences to her loved ones.

Recall that she began her acting career in the 2008 film “Arugba,” directed by Tunde Kelani, where she portrayed the character Princess Mobandele alongside notable stars such as Bukky Wright, Bukola Awoyemi, and Segun Adefila.
