Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Next Chairman Of Ikorodu Local Government plans to set in motion an economic empowerment programme towards lifting youth in communities out of poverty and setting them on a path to prosperity.
To the end, Her economic blueprint for Ikorodu Local Government is centred on empowering local businesses, supporting entrepreneurs, and creating an enabling environment for farmers with inputs that will stimulate the local economy.
In a press statement, Dr. Folashade-Oba stated that by fostering an environment where businesses can thrive, she would also aim at reducing dependency on government paliatives and building a self-sustaining economy that will benefit all.
