Dr. Agama, Bello Hassan race to speak at FiBOP’s Workshop 2024 in Lagos

The Finance and Business Online Publishers (FiBOP) is set to host its 2024 capacity-building workshop, themed “Digital Innovation: Deepening Infrastructure for Efficient Financial Ecosystem.” This prestigious event will take place from October 18-20, 2024, at the Orchids Hotel in Lekki, Lagos.
Chairperson of the workshop organizing committee, Vera Osokpo, announced that Dr. Emomotimi Agama, Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Mr. Bello Hassan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), have confirmed their attendance as keynote speakers.

The digitalization of the financial system has revolutionized transactions, bringing speed, convenience, reduced costs, and increased financial savings. It has also improved access to financial services, security, transparency, and financial inclusion. With the increasing demand for digital services, the need to innovate for sustainability becomes imperative. requiring a strong infrastructure base for innovation to thrive.
FiBOP 2024 workshop aims to provide a rich and engaging experience, facilitating networking, learning, and collaboration among stakeholders. It is a must-attend event for those interested in Nigeria’s digital economy and financial ecosystem growth.
Dr. Emomotimi Agama is a renowned expert in economics, finance, and risk management. He holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Economics from Nile University of Nigeria, and various certifications from prestigious institutions globally.
Mr. Bello Hassan is a seasoned professional with expertise in accounting, business continuity management, and banking. He holds a degree in Accounting and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Diploma in Business Continuity Management from Coventry University, UK.
FiBOP seeks to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s digital economy and financial ecosystem development, ensuring the country is well-positioned to leverage digital innovation opportunities and strengthen its infrastructure base for efficient financial operations.
