Vindi Petroleum has announced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at making fuel affordable and accessible during the festive season, ensuring Nigerians can travel with ease for Christmas celebrations.

Speaking during the launch of the program in Lagos, Executive Chairman Victor Kalu, the driving force behind the initiative, described it as a revolutionary step toward creating a more affordable and efficient fuel distribution system across Nigeria.

“We are committed to growing the economy by making fuel readily available and affordable for Nigerians during the yuletide,” Kalu said. “Our initiative, Fuel Yapa—which means ‘fuel in abundance’—focuses on creating a vast network that can command significant purchasing power and reduce fuel costs for everyone.”

Kalu explained that Vindi Petroleum’s vision is to build the largest private petroleum distribution platform in Africa, leveraging technology to ensure equitable distribution of fuel at uniform prices nationwide.

“Petroleum drives nearly all productive processes in Nigeria. Our goal is to partner with Nigerians to bring about change. Through our platform, we will make 10 million litres of fuel available daily across the country, reducing prices significantly,” he added.

The initiative includes partnerships with over 1,000 fuel stations nationwide. With a Vindi Petroleum voucher, consumers can purchase fuel at participating stations at reduced prices. The platform also features GPS technology to guide users to partner stations, including a major hub in Maza Maza, Lagos.

“Imagine traveling to the South East during Christmas. With our platform, you can pre-order fuel and locate partner stations en route. This innovation ensures affordability and convenience, especially during high-demand periods,” Kalu noted.

Eze Nwachukwu, a community leader, commended Vindi Petroleum for the initiative, highlighting its potential to address perennial fuel scarcity and ease transportation burdens during the festive season.

“We thank Vindi Petroleum for this effort. Instead of struggling with fuel shortages, this initiative allows travelers to move with ease. We have embraced this idea and believe it will make a significant impact,” Nwachukwu said.
