Former President, Buhari Dies In London Clinic

Former President of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has passed away at clinic in London at the age of 82.

This was disclosed by Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday.

“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, this afternoon in a clinic in London.

“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin,” he wrote.

Buhari served as Nigeria’s President from May 29, 2015, to May 29, 2023

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Vice President Shettima to proceed to London to accompany the Body home as the Nation’s Flag will fly at half mast as show of national mourning.
