Two officers from the Nigeria Customs Service Public Relations Unit have emerged as the top graduates at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, during the graduation of 50 officers from Senior Course 14/2026.
Chief Superintendent of Customs Ridwan Yusuf clinched the position of Overall Best Graduating Student, while Chief Superintendent of Customs Nuruddeen Sa’idu came second. Their performance stood out at the ceremony held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Ahmed Makarfi Hall of the College.
The Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, represented by Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs Sulaiman Chiroma, congratulated the graduating officers and described the programme as one of the Service’s most demanding professional courses. He urged them to remain disciplined, courageous and committed to national service.
“To whom much is given, much is expected,” Chiroma said, adding that the officers must continue to serve with honesty, integrity and dedication.
The Commandant of the College, Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs Duwoh Gaura, said the institution remains committed to producing competent and professional officers in line with the Comptroller-General’s vision of a more efficient and technology-driven Customs Service.
The graduation ceremony was preceded by a regimental dinner held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the NCCSC Hotel, Gwagwalada, in honour of the graduating officers.
