The Federal Government on Monday ordered security agencies to shoot dead and not shoot to injure any person or group of persons that attempt to attack any jail facility across Nigeria. The Lagos State Government has announced that Marine Bridge will partially close from Monday 17th January (today) to Saturday, 2nd April, 2022 for Emergency repair works on the infrastructure. President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the military to respond to cases of killings and kidnappings by bandits in Niger and to give effect to strategic objectives through the use of force. The Supreme Court has reversed its earlier decision which dismissed an appeal filed by Guaranty Trust Bank against a N2.4bn judgment given in favour of Innoson Motors Nigeria Limited by the Court of Appeal in Ibadan, Oyo State.
