Electoral Act Amendment: Senate Greenlights Electronic Transmission Of Election Results
News reaching Point News reveals that the Nigerian Senate has approved electronic transmission of election results. Point News reports that the Red Chamber has reconsidered the Electoral Act Amendment Bill and empowered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to determine the best mode of transmitting election results. The Red Chamber also approved that all political parties must use the direct primary mode in picking candidates. Updates in our subsequent bulletins.

The Lagos State Government has begun the training of another set of 200 agripreneursunder the Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) and the Graduate Internship Placement Programme (GIPP). Delta state Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has expressed condolences to the Kefas family and Taraba state Government on the passing away of former Military Administrator of Delta, Air Commodore Ibrahim Kefas (retd).
