The American therapist Eric Lira who supplied Blessing Okagbare with performance enhancing substances has benn jailed for three months. Texas-based Lira admitted supplying performance-enhancing substances to athletes, including Okagbare, who has been banned for 11 years by the Athletics Integrity Unit. Lira was sentenced to three months in prison, one year of supervised release and forfeiture of $16,410 (€15,113).
