Pan Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, has annulled the position of acting leader and deputy leader of the group, presently occupied by Pa Ayo Adebanjo and Oba Oladipo Olaitan. Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was this morning affirmed Delta governorship winner by the Supreme Court which dismissed the appeal by Ovie Omo-Agege, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the election held in March 2023. A five-member panel of the Supreme Court ruled Omo-Agege and the APC failed to prove the election was conducted without substantial compliance with the Electoral Act.
