Nigerians have been asked to disregard any reaction from an individual, group of individuals or CPS on the defection of the Deputy Governor of Edo state, Shaibu from PDP to another party.
Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Media, Benjamin Atu expressed this view on Tuesday in a press statement.
Atu in the statement said, only the Deputy Governor has the right to speak on this issue and he has agreed to Address the press in due time. All other reactions should be disregarded.
According to him, the Deputy Governor has not ordered anyone to speak on the allegation and has also slated a day to personally address the media.
His statement was emphatic on the need for all concerned individuals, groups and the Media should Kindly disregard any one claiming to speak for the Deputy Governor.
The senior Special Assistance to the Edo state governor stated further that the media should shun such information so as to avoid conflicting reports.
