OYO PRISON BREAK: THIRTEEN FLEEING INMATES REARRESTED IN OSUN

Not less than thirteen prisoners who escaped from Abolongo Custodial Centre of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Oyo State on Friday night have been arrested by the police in Osun State communities.

According to the police, the assistance of residents,led to the arrest of the fleeing inmates, Saturday night.
in communities of Ejigbo Local Government Area,Osun State.

This was confirmed by Osun state police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola,“Our men have rearrested inmates who escaped from the Abolongo Custodial Center.
She also stated the names of the rearrested prisoners.

“Inmates arrested are: Adekanbi Kola, Semiu Sali, Garuba Nurudeen, Ismaila Garuba, Nasifi Garuba, Qadri Yusuf, Ezekiel Owolabi, Bamidele Kehinde, Daodu Emmanuel, Dele Babatunde, Adeyemo Ifalowo, Ridwan Akinsola, Sola Owolabi.”

SP Opalola stated further, that the inmates will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Osogbo for proper handing over.
