CYBERCRIME: EFCC NABS 2 AS COURT SENTENCES THEM TO 5 YEAR JAIL TERM

2 internet fraudsters have been sentencd to five years, six months imprisonment for committing internet-related offences and cheating.

Justice Nasiru U. Sadiq of the Kaduna State High Court, sitting in Kaduna, convicted and sentenced two ithe fraudsters to five years, six months imprisonment .

The fraudsters: Peter Uzorchukwu Sharon also known as Drew Mason and Peter Prince John, were jailed on Monday, September 12, 2022 after pleading guilty to one-count separate charge, bordering on internet fraud and cheating by impersonation.

The Economic and. Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. Kaduna Zonal Command arrested and arraigned the fraudsters.
