OGUN POLITICS: ASSEMBLY SUSPENDS 2 LAWMAKERS INDEFINITELY

The Ogun State House of Assembly on Tuesday suspended two lawmakers of the state House of Assembly.

Speaker, of the state house of assembly, Rt Hon. Olukunle Oluomo announced the suspension of the 2 lawmakers during Plenary today.

From reliable source from the House of Assembly said the former Deputy Speaker Dare Kadiri who is representing Ijebu-North and Hon Solomon Osho of Remo North were those suspended.

Worthy of note is that, the two lawmaker”s suspension is until further notice.

The source further discosed that the duo are to appear before the House Committee on ethics and privileges.

You will recall that the former Deputy Speaker was arrested by the Ogun state police command over alleged assault during the revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress in the state.

The former Deputy Speaker Dare Kadiri who is representing Ijebu-North at the State House of Assembly was arrested after he allegedly led suspected hoodlums to invade residence of the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, in Oru-Ijebu, Ijebu North Local Government Area of the State.

It remains to be seen the next line of action to be taken by these suspended lawmakers.
