ISOKO FLOOD DISASTER:
UKODHIKO LAUDS OBOREVWORI FOR SUPPLY OF RELIEF MATERIALS

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pst Jonathan Ukodhiko has commended Delta PDP Governorship Candidate, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in Isoko.

Ukodhiko gave the commendation on Saturday at Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area.

According to him,, “the gesture by the Delta Speaker will no doubt help in alleviating the sufferings of the vulnerable people of Isoko Federal Constituency.

“Today, the Speaker of the Delta State of Assembly, Hon. Oborevwori has come to identify with us, by showing empathy and love for the people of Isoko nation through the presentation of relief materials to victims at Oleh and Ozoro.

“He also took time to visit the flooded Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, where the damages on the university were unbelievable, “

The former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Jonathan Ukodihko stated, “Again, it tells of our responsiveness to the plights and needs of the people.

“You can see the way we are responding to the situation through proactive efforts, and the Delta State Government has done a lot in prioritizing the safety and welfare of the displaced people in Isoko.

“By next week, I’ll embark on a tour of the flood ravaged communities in Isoko Federal Constituency to access the situation with a view of ameliorating the situation of the people.

“Yesterday I was at the IDP camp in Oleh and flood affected communities of Olomoro. It’s a terrible situation I must say, and we are doing everything humanly possible to take care of the people,“ Ukodhiko concluded.
