The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Bello Hassan, recently paid a condolence visit to the family of the late President Umar Musa Yar’adua to offer his sympathies on the passing of the late President’s mother, Hajia Aya Dada Yar’adua.

The visit took place at the Yar’adua family home in Katsina over the weekend, where Hassan was warmly received by Senator Abdul-Aziz Yar’adua, son of the late matriarch.

The NDIC boss expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family, acknowledging the significant loss they had suffered.

Hassan’s visit was a gesture of respect and solidarity with the Yar’adua family during this difficult time.

It also reflected the NDIC’s commitment to upholding the values of empathy and compassion.

The late Hajia Aya Dada Yar’adua was a highly respected figure in Katsina and beyond, known for her kindness, wisdom, and generosity.

Her passing has left a void in the lives of her loved ones and the community at large.

Through his condolence visit, Hassan demonstrated the NDIC’s dedication to supporting those in need, particularly during times of bereavement. The corporation’s leadership remains committed to making a positive impact in the lives of Nigerians, beyond its core mandate of deposit insurance.

The visit also served as an opportunity for Hassan to strengthen ties with the Yar’adua family and the Katsina community, fostering a sense of unity and shared humanity.

As the NDIC continues to play a vital role in Nigeria’s financial sector, its leadership remains mindful of the importance of empathy, compassion, and community engagement.
