The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Bashir Adeniyi, has been conferred with a Doctorate in Leadership and Security Studies by the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The conferment took place at the university’s convocation ceremony held over the weekend, during which 5,051 graduates received various degrees, including 255 doctoral recipients.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, commended key national institutions such as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund) for their continuous support and partnerships aimed at strengthening tertiary education and promoting access, equity, and quality learning outcomes across the country.
