Top energy executives, government officials, and industry stakeholders will converge in Lagos from 19 to 20 May 2026 for the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) 2026 Oil & Gas Midstream & Downstream Stakeholders Summit. The event is tailored to explore emerging business opportunities in Nigeria’s midstream and downstream oil and gas segments, as the sector evolves under the framework of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).

The summit will bring together decision‑makers from government, regulators, institutional investors, financiers, operators, and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors to discuss how to unlock growth, drive investment, and strengthen local content across the value chain. It will be hosted by NCDMB Executive Secretary Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe and is expected to draw senior management from oil and gas companies, regulators, technical experts, and other energy professionals.

The two‑day forum is designed to foster collaboration, policy dialogue, and industry networking, with a strong focus on the implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010 and the Ministerial Regulations 2021. Participants will also hear about the NCDMB’s new Midstream and Downstream Operating Model, alongside discussions on current challenges, new projects, and strategies for sustainable growth in storage, processing, pipelines, refining, and related infrastructure.

Attendees will gain insights into policy direction, regulatory frameworks, and investment opportunities, while benefiting from direct engagement with key decision‑makers. Participation is strictly by invitation and attendance is free, underscoring the organisers’ push to provide a high‑value platform for stakeholders to shape the future of Nigeria’s midstream and downstream oil and gas industry.
