The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has congratulated Chief Kome Okpobor on receiving a one-year extension as Executive Director of Finance and Administration at DESOPADEC.
In a goodwill message, Ogorugba called the extension a blessing for Isoko Nation and Delta State, saying it would allow more meaningful projects to be delivered across the state.
He praised Okpobor for his visionary leadership, results-driven programmes, and political astuteness, which have significantly advanced the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in his capacity as EDFA, DESOPADEC.
Ogorugba said that under Okpobor’s leadership, DESOPADEC has performed exceptionally well in delivering impactful development projects and human capital initiatives to all oil-producing communities in the state.
He expressed confidence that the extension would strengthen DESOPADEC’s mandate to bring development closer to people in oil-producing communities, particularly those in rural areas.
The Council Chairman also thanked Governor Oborevwori for approving the one-year extension, saying it reflects the governor’s commitment to rewarding dedication and service to the people.
Ogorugba prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and success for Okpobor as he enters his new term.
