He stressed that the campaign council’s mix of top party leaders, governors, lawmakers, and stakeholders from across Nigeria signals the APC’s firm resolve to retain and strengthen its hold in the state.
Joel-Onowakpo outlined a campaign strategy centred on grassroots mobilisation, continuous voter engagement, and a clear showcase of the Oyebanji administration’s progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare. He said these achievements have earned the governor broad public trust and set the stage for a commanding re-election outcome.
The senator described the APC as united, focused, and battle-ready for the contest, expressing confidence that Ekiti voters will grant Oyebanji a strong mandate in recognition of his service.
The event drew senior APC figures, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, and Uba Sani, along with other governors, National Assembly members, and party stakeholders.
