Chevron has appointed Uriel “Ose” Oseguera as treasurer, effective 1 November 2026, succeeding Navin Mahajan, who will retire after nearly 30 years with the oil major. Oseguera, currently vice president of Upstream Business Performance & Finance, will lead Chevron’s treasury organisation, covering capital markets, corporate finance, insurance, credit and risk management, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Eimear Bonner.
Bonner said Oseguera brings an “exceptional combination of treasury expertise, global business leadership, and deep company knowledge” to the role, citing his experience across corporate finance, capital markets and international business leadership as a distinctive perspective on risk management, financial discipline and value creation. Oseguera joined Chevron in 1990 and has held finance, treasury and planning leadership roles in the U.S., Venezuela, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia, and previously served as general manager of Chevron’s Financial Shared Services organisation.
Mahajan has served as Chevron’s treasurer since 2019, holding leadership positions spanning treasury, finance, compliance and business operations during his nearly three decades at the company. Bonner described him as a “trusted leader whose expertise, integrity, and commitment have strengthened our company and Finance organisation.”
