The Finance and Business Online Publishers Association (FiBOP) is taking its campaign for the 2026 Annual Conference and Awards to the airwaves, with a live discussion scheduled for Radio Nigeria 103.5FM on Wednesday.
Airing from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the programme will feature FiBOP’s conference committee chairman and association president. They will outline plans for the event and discuss its focus on Nigeria’s economic growth.
The conference will be held on October 17 and 18 at Orchids Hotel in Lekki, Lagos. This year’s theme is “Unlocking Nigeria’s Economic Potential: Taxation, Industry, Insurance, Fintech, Trade and Investment as Catalysts for Nigeria’s $1 Trillion Vision.”
Organisers expect the gathering to bring together government officials, regulators, business executives, investors, professionals and media representatives. Discussions will explore how the sectors highlighted in the theme can contribute to investment, development and the country’s ambition of building a $1 trillion economy.
Dr. Muda Yusuf, chief executive of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, will chair the conference. Bola Odukale, director-general and chief executive of the Nigerian Insurers Association, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address.
FiBOP said the radio appearance is part of its effort to broaden awareness of the event and encourage participation. The association also plans to recognise contributions to Nigeria’s financial and business sectors during the awards.
