SANWO-OLU APPOINTS MEMBERS OF STANDING TRIBUNAL OF INQUIRY I

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed five members for the Standing Tribunal of Inquiry into Chieftaincy Matters.

The five Newly appointed members are: Honourable Justice O. A. Dabiri (rtd) – Chairman; Chief (Mrs.) Mariam Olaniyi; Chief Adebola Dosumu; Engr. Jimoh Folorunsho Kazeem and Mr. Nojeeb Ola Agunbiade.

This latest appointment was disclosed in a statement signed by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

According to him, the tribunal was constituted to ensure peaceful resolution of Chieftaincy disputes and harmonious communal presence in the State.

Muri-Okunola stated,: “In the same vein, Mr. Governor has also approved the movement of the Standing Tribunal from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to the Ministry of Justice to ensure a seamless discharge of the Tribunal’s responsibilities”.

The Head of Service however wished the appointees a successful tenure as he diclosed that Moves Tribunal to Ministry of Justice
