In a groundbreaking ceremony, Vindi Petroleum, one of Nigeria’s leading petroleum marketing companies, officially commissioned its newest fuel station in Ibadan, Oyo State. The event, which took place at the Aleshinloye area of Ibadan, marked a significant milestone in Vindi Petroleum’s expansion strategy, aimed at promoting ease of access and affordability for fuel consumers nationwide.

Victor Kalu, Executive Chairman of Vindi Petroleum, emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting Nigerians by sourcing refined products locally and internationally to meet consumer demands. “We are dedicated to providing high-quality petroleum products to our customers, while ensuring that our operations are aligned with the needs of the local community,” Kalu stated.

Kalu highlighted the unique features of the Vindi Petroleum fuel pumps, which are equipped with a lifetime reader feature that prevents manipulation. This innovative technology ensures that customers receive accurate and transparent fuel dispensing, thereby promoting trust and confidence in the brand.

The Vindi Petroleum Executive Chairman emphasized the importance of supporting small and medium businesses in Nigeria, citing their potential to create employment, sustain enterprises, and grow the country’s GDP. “We believe that by empowering SMEs, we can contribute to the country’s economic growth and development,” Kalu noted.

Kalu revealed that Vindi Petroleum is partnering with other fuel stations to achieve its goal of fair pricing, regular supplies, and sustainable marketing of petroleum products. The company is also expanding its operations, with plans to establish more fuel stations across Nigeria.

Vindi Petroleum’s distribution strategy includes the home, office, and factory delivery of premium motor spirit (PMS) and automotive gas oil (AGO). The company has procured 120,000 branded kegs, which will be provided to subscribers. This innovative approach is designed to provide customers with unparalleled convenience and flexibility.

Accessing petroleum products through Vindi Petroleum is also supported by a mobile application, downloadable from the Google Play Store. The app, known as “Fuel Yapa,” enables customers to make fuel reservations online, pick up reserved products anywhere in the country, and enjoy unprecedented customer satisfaction.

Kalu expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome received from the Aleshinloye community, praising their hospitality and large turnout at the commissioning ceremony. “We are committed to engaging with the local community and supporting their development initiatives,” Kalu stated.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief Oladipupo Johnson, commended the ingenuity of Vindi Petroleum and described Victor Kalu as a patriotic gentleman bringing ideas to support ease of doing business and trade facilitation. Johnson noted that petroleum products play critical roles in daily activities, from transportation to production and leisure.

Barrister Oladipupo expressed optimism that the Vindi expansion will continue, with plans to establish about a thousand fuel stations in partnership with the company. He congratulated the people of Aleshinloye for being pilot beneficiaries of the Vindi petroleum revolution.

Performing the formal commissioning, His Highness, Prince Ademola Ayoade, praised Vindi Petroleum for bringing state-of-the-art machines to Ibadan, comparable to those found in advanced areas of the world. Prince Ayoade commended Vindi Petroleum for its commitment to the ancient city of Ibadan and prayed for the company’s continued success.

The commissioning ceremony was also an opportunity for Vindi Petroleum to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility. The company’s executives and staff interacted with members of the local community, highlighting the company’s plans to support local businesses and initiatives. With its expansion into Ibadan, Vindi Petroleum is poised to make a positive impact on the local economy and community while also contributing to the growth and development of Nigeria’s petroleum sector.
