The Apapa Port Command of Nigeria Customs Service has achieved a revenue collection of N2.01tr as at November 19, 2024 Customs Area Controller(CAC) of the command, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, fsi who disclosed this while addressing officers and men on a parade on Wednesday November 20, 2024 said the command aims at achieving its N2.2tr target for this year by the end of this month ahead of December. NCS Pens Mutual Administrative Consent with India
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), on 16 November 2023, signed a Customs Mutual Administrative Agreement (CMAA) with its Indian counterpart. The Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, represented the NCS during the signing ceremony, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja. This agreement formed part of the engagements during the state visit by the Indian Prime Minister on 17 November 2024 at the State House, Abuja. Eyoto AthIetics: Female sprinters triple male counterparts as competition draws near
For the first time, in five years of Eyoto Sports Academy athletics competitions, female sprinters have doubled in registration than their male counterparts a few days to the competition in Benin City. According to the technical director of the competition Coach Mutiu Oluwa, out of 700 participating AthIetes over 57% of female athletes have registered to feature in the competition while lest than 40% of male athletes. Africa’s Global Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, has announced plans to raise N239.4 billion through a Rights Issue of 6,839,884,274 ordinary shares. The issue, which opened on November 15, 2024, allows existing shareholders to purchase additional shares at N35.00 per share, with one new share offered for every five existing shares held.
