The Okpella community in the Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, has rejected plans by the State Government to relocate the proposed airport from the area. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the arrest of private security guards at Brooks Estate, Magodo, Isheri for allegedly delaying and denying him entrance into the estate. Tofa was MKO Abiola’s major challenger in the controversial June 12, 1993, presidential election, annulled by the military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.
