Point News247 reports that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a businesswoman heading to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for Umrah (Lesser Hajj), Mrs. Adisa Afusat Olayinka, for alleged drug trafficking. The agency said the woman ingested 80 pellets of cocaine, which she excreted after her arrest. Spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi, said Mrs. Olayinka, 46, who lives in Ibafo, Ogun State, was arrested on November 24 at the boarding screening area of the airport during an outward clearance of Qatar Airways flight 1418. Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode. Point News247 reports that Fani-Kayode was arrested at a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, and moved to a nearby EFCC office.
