Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has increased the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) locally assembled compactor trucks with the launch of 102 brand new ones. With the constitution of a 4-Man special investigation panel in Abuja, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has called for the immediate suspension of DCP Abba Kyari, the Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT), from the Service of the Nigeria Police Force, pending the outcome of an ongoing internal investigations on him.
