Three suspected thieves accused of stealing motorcycles have been burnt to death on Friday in Ile-Ife, Osun State. Eyewitnesses said two suspects were apprehended after they had successfully stolen a motorcycle at Lagere, Ile-Ife. A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the incident happened around 3pm. He explained that, “The two men were chased and apprehended by a group of okada rudders (motorcyclists) and confirmed they were burnt alive in Lagere.”
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has suspended his Chief of Staff, Anthony Agbazuere for spraying clergyman, Odumeje Indaboski, money in his office. His suspension is contained in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem. The statement reads: “Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate suspension from office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr ACB Agbazuere.The Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, will perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice”.

The Imo state Police Command has condemned the killing of one Jude Oguzie on Saturday along the Njaba/Owerri road by officers attached to the Command. The Commissioner of Police, CP Isaac O. The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Hajia Zainab Ahmed, says the Federal Government granted N342 billion waivers to importers in the last two years. She made this known at a sensitisation seminar on the Automated Import Duty Exemption Certificate held at the Nigeria Customs Training College, Ikeja. The Lagos State Government has promised to increase its fish production by at least 60,000 metric tonnes to bridge the huge demand-deficit in the State. The Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, stated this on Friday in Lagos at a news conference to unveil the forthcoming Lagos Seafood Festival coming up on Sunday, December 13,2020, at the Muri Okunola Park, Lagos.
