A middle-aged man, Samuel Erukoghene Okoro, who started riding bicycle from Damaturu, Yobe State, on December 9, to celebrate the victory and performance of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, arrived Akwanga, Nasarawa State on Tuesday, on his way to Asaba. The Rivers state government has commenced the demolition of the house of assembly complex in Port Harcourt. There are reports that the demolition is being carried out for renovation purposes amid insinuations that it also has political connotations. Delta State Government has said consistent capacity building for public secondary school administrators and educators is designed to enhance efficiency in service delivery. The State Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs Rose Ezewu, stated this in Ughelli, while declaring open a two-day capacity building/orientation programme for school administrators and senior educators in public secondary schools in Delta State. Delta State Government says the reconstruction of the collapsed Bedesegha Bridge along Bomadi road in Patani Local Government Area of the state will be ready for use in January, 2024. State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze disclosed this during inspection of ongoing works on the project on Friday.
