Police has reportedly fired teargas at the Lekki tollgate to disperse protesters.

In a bid to remember those who lost their lives last year in a nationwide protest against police brutality, defiant EndSARS protesters came out in large numbers on Wednesday defying a police order against protests of any kind.

Point News247 reports that EndSARS memorial protesters took over Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria, in their car procession, causing gridlock on both lanes.

Reports reaching us also reveals that motorists living in the Lekki-Ajah axis are stuck in traffic as #EndSARS protesters caused gridlock along the Lekki expressway stretch of the road.

At the nation’s Federal Capital territory, Abuja, leader of the Revolution Now movement, Omoyele Sowore, as well as activist, Deji Adeyanju, are leading some marchers in the #EndSAR anniversary protest at the Unity Fountain.
