Reports just reaching Point News247 studios indicates that a building said to house auto spare parts in the Lagos popular Ladipo market has bursted into flames.

The building located on 85 Ladipo Street by Fatai Atere Way, reportedly caught fire the evening of Sunday after an electrical spark at a furniture workshop behind the building.

Ibrahim Farinloye, Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency, says that officials have tried to put off the inferno but it continued to burn till the early hours of Monday.

This is coming barely three weeks after an explosion rocked a near street destroying goods worth millions.
