JUST IN: Gov. Obaseki Constitutes Private Property Protection Law Implementation Committee

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, has constituted the Edo State Private Property Protection Law 2021 Implementation Committee, with Hon. Justice Alero Edodo-Eruaga (retd.) as Chairman.

Point News247 reports that the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, said the constitution of the committee is in line with section 4 (1) of the Edo State Private Property Protection Law 2021.

He said, “The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has, in line with section 4 (1) of the Edo State Private Property Protection Law 2021, appointed the under-listed persons into the Edo State Private Property Protection Law Implementation Committee.”

The appointees are: Hon. Justice Alero Edodo-Eruaga (Rtd), as Chairman; Mr. J. O. Uhunamure, Member; Mr. Nosa Edo-Osagie Esq., Member; Dr. Olufemi Ayewoh, Member; Gen. Friday Airende (Rtd), Member; Mr. A. Agbonlahor AIG (Rtd), Member, and Chief Osaro Idah, Member.

According to him, the Chief State Counsel, Ministry of Justice, Oshirekun Otokunrin Esq., is to serve as the committee’s Secretary.

Ogie added that the committee will be inaugurated by His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, at a date to be announced later.
