Responsible Driving: Guinness Launches Wrong Side Of The Road Campaign Alongside NSCDC, FRSC

With the yuletide around the corner, there’s is no time better than now to sensitize road users on the importance of responsible driving.

To this end, Guinness Nigeria Plc, has launched a Responsible Driving E – Learning Module, tagged “Wrong Side Of The Road”.

Point News247 reports that the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Commandant Eweka Okoro, was present at the launch of the module.

The lauch of the module, which was organised by Guinness Nigeria plc, on December 2, at the Providence hotel, in Ikeja was also graced by the Corps Marshall, Boboye Oyeyemi, of the Federal Road Safety Corps( FRSC) and other senior officers of the FRSC amidst other dignitaries from different walks of life.

According to Guinness Nigeria plc, “it is pertinent to state that the launch of Wrong Side of the road module was purposed to be an educational experience that helps people understand the effects and impact of drunk – driving.”

Finally, the Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Commandant Eweka Okoro seized the opportunity to appreciate Guinness Nigeria plc, for graciously extending the invitation to the Command. He opined that the Wrong side on the road module is a right initiative in the right direction and promised that the Command will also be ready to support the FRSC in Lagos to ensure safety and security on our roads.
