Oborevwori hails distinguished Mama Paulina Ewherido at 90

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the matriarch of the Ewherido family, Mama Paulina Powder Ewherido on her 90th birth anniversary.

Mama Powder, as she is fondly called, is mother to eight male children, including, Catholic Bishop of Warri Diocese, Rt. Rev. Anthony Ewherido, late Senator Akpor Pius Ewherido and renowned author, columnist and Managing Director, Titan Insurance Brokers Limited, Francis Ewherido, among others.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori described Mama Ewherido as a distinguished mother who gave birth to outstanding children in the society.

The Governor described Mama Powder as a role model and exemplary mother who nurtured her children to become reputable and successful men of impact in the society.

Governor Oborevwori said: “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I gracefully celebrate with the Ewherido dynasty on the occasion of the 90th birthday celebration of their beloved mother, Mama Paulina Powder Ewherido.

“I join your family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for your life which has been marked by robustly sterling accomplishments and abounding fulfillment.

“May the years ahead be filled with strength, celebrations, joy and good health. Happy birthday, Mama Powder.”
