Secretary of the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Muiz Dosunmu Shodipe is dead.
His demise was was announced in a statement issued by the state pdp spokesperson
Mr Taofik Gani on Wednesday, July 28.
While mr Gani stated that prince Dosumu died he gave no information in regards to the cause of his death but pointnews findings revealed prince Shodipe,had been battling an undisclosed ailment for some time now but gave up the ghost in Lagos on Wednesday morning.
As it stands,the family is yet to announce his funeral arrangements.
PDP, while mourning the passing of the politician, described it as one death too much for the party.
The party however said, it feared that the death of prince Shodipe, who it described as a dogged secretary at this time was a big blow that might slow the re-engineering of PDP in the state, but quickly submitted to the will of God, just as it prayed for the soul of the departed to enjoy at the bosom of the Lord.
The statement stated further,“The Lagos State PDP also prays for the family to have the fortitude to bear the monumental loss,”.
