FAAN Set to Shutdown Power Supply At Lagos Airport Tomorrow Nov. 16

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, (FAAN), will shut down power supply to the International Terminal 2 ( ITZ – 2) of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport ,Lagos, between the hours of 0100hrs and 0430hrs on Saturday morning November 16, 2024 for the replacement of the Bus Riser 11KVA high tension panel.

According to a statement signed by the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Mrs. Obiageli Orah, explained that the
proposed electrical power supply maintenance shutdown will be carried out with minimal disruption to flight operations and passenger facilitation. Royal Air Maroc ,which operates within the maintenance hour, will be relocated for check-in and arrival ( parking) formalities to International Terminal 1( ITZ- 1)

She further explained that airlines, security agencies , and concessionaires will be notified appropriately.

FAAN, she said regrets any inconvenience caused to its stakeholders and passengers.

She added that the safety and security of all airport users will always be paramount in in FAAN”s considerations
