Point News247 reports that the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has lamented the rejection of Nigerian Seafarers by foreign and local shipowners due to falsification of results. Speaking recently during an interactive session with journalists in Lagos, the director-general, NIMASA, Dr Bashir Jamoh, said to end the rejection, the agency created online certificate verification platform which allows shipowners to easily authenticate CoC’s from any part of the world. A bill seeking to increase the educational qualification for election into the office of the president has passed first reading at the house of representatives.
